Thanks to all who have signed and shared. We currently have 1,014 people who want to have a law passed which would allow unrestricted access to original birth certificates to California born adult adoptees. if California passes a law, it will have a positive influence on the rest of the nation. 

Assuming a legislator authors a bill, I will let you know through this platform when public hearings occur and how the bill is progressing. Our California Alliance for Adoptee Rights (CAAR) continues to meet with legislator offices. This petition reflects the will of the people. 

In the meantime, please continue to share the petition and educate.
