Perhaps you are an adoptee,  family member of an adoptee,  friend, concerned citizen etc. All of you believe in the fundamental right of a person to know who they are and where they come from.

Today is my birthday. For the first year of my life my name was Frank Novak. I was adopted on my first birthday and became Paul Kimball. (Same day JFK was assassinated.) I want to see my original birth certificate.  I have met my birth parents. They passed away years ago. I still want it. More important, I want every adoptee in the United States and the rest of the world, to have unrestricted access to their original birth certificates as well. 

We in California Alliance for Adoptee Rights continue to educate legislators and are making great strides. This petition helps so much. The comments are excellent. We share them.

Early next week, I'll stop by the Governor's office and present them with this updated petition. It was their idea to create this petition. 

 Please share the petition. 1,000 would be a great update for them and others.
