Thank you for signing our petition. With 704 signatures so far, the petition is a voice for all of you, your family and friends who want adult California Adoptees to have the same rights as every other California citizen, access to their original birth certificate. We (California Alliance for Adoptee Rights) continue to meet with legislative offices on Zoom and in person. All have shown great empathy, but we still don't have a bill sponsor. We have meetings this week. 

We always show and share this petition along with a birth mother petition from Mothers for Open Records which has over 1,300 signatures of support from women who have relinquished their children. With a combination of over 2,000 signatures, legislators listen.
