It's just downright nasty to use the school bathroom and not have any soap available. Every time I visit the girls' restroom at school, I'm met with empty soap dispensers or none at all. It's obvious that without soap, maintaining hygiene becomes impossible, and this poses a significant health risk, not just to me but to every student.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), washing hands with soap and water is one of the best ways to prevent illness and the spread of germs. School bathrooms, with their high foot traffic, are no exception. Students, including myself, are being put at risk of infections and other diseases due to this lack of basic hygiene resources.

The absence of soap sends a discouraging message about the importance of hygiene and personal care. It feels as though our health and well-being are being overlooked. This isn't just about convenience—it's about safety and ensuring every student has a healthy school environment.

I urge school management to prioritize the installation and regular maintenance of soap dispensers in all school bathrooms. By initiating a small change, we can foster a safer and more sanitary environment for all.
