As an Ontarian, I was deeply hurt by KFC's recent initiative to serve only halal chicken and remove pork, claiming it as a commitment to diversity and inclusion. This statement excludes people who do not eat halal meat. Ontario is a diverse province that does not reflect only one dietary preference or religion. We need inclusion for all dietary preferences, including non-halal options.

By offering both halal and non-halal meat options, food establishments can truly cater to the diverse population of Ontario. This will ensure that everyone has access to meals that align with their personal beliefs and dietary needs.
