Several people in West Blocton, AL experienced power outages for 2 to 3 days, causing them to lose their food. Groceries are already too high, and many residents make too much to qualify for SNAP but too little to afford groceries twice a month. We need assistance to help replace what we lost. Our tax dollars should be used to support our community during these tough times instead of being sent abroad.
