Investing in aspiring athletes within our community is important and can provide a positive outlet for recreational exercise. Basketball can help encourage physical fitness, build social skills, create family bonds, reduce stress/depression/anxiety while creating strong community ties.

The community currently only offers sports at the amenity center that is more specific to adults with exclusive use of tennis and pickleball courts. The community would like to add the option of basketball for youth who do not prefer racket related sports as the community does not offer basketball or any other ball related sports at this time. This will allow equal sports access to residents of all ages and provide more diverse inclusion for our younger community members.

The community would like to propose building a lighted basketball court at the amenity center and is open to either building a new court in available space or converting an existing court.
