🚻🚌 CAMPAIGN UPDATE – KEEP THE PRESSURE ON!

Some important progress for our Routes 58 & 115 toilet campaign.
📩 Margaret Mullane MP’s office has now written directly to TfL, asking whether a permanent 24-hour toilet can be provided at or near East Ham Central Park, what is preventing it, whether alternative sites have been explored, and how TfL prioritises investment in driver welfare facilities.
🚻 We also welcome the recent announcement from TfL and the Mayor of London of 53 new bus-driver toilet blocks over the next three years. After many years of drivers and trade unionists campaigning for proper toilet facilities, this is positive progress.
But our campaign does not stop here.
We will keep going until drivers on Routes 58 & 115 at East Ham Central Park have the permanent toilet facilities they need.
📨 We are also aware that drivers have written to Stephen Timms MP and Stella Creasy MP, and we await their formal responses.
👏 Well done to every petitioner and supporter. We’ve made progress, but there’s still a long way to go.
