Support the appointment of Lamarr Thomas to the position of Superintendent of the Englewood, NJ Public School District

Dear Members of the Englewood Board of Education,

I am writing to encourage the Board to appoint Mr. Lamarr Thomas as the next Superintendent of Englewood Public Schools.

Our district has experienced a great deal of change in recent years, and I believe this is an opportunity to move forward with a leader who has already demonstrated his commitment to our students and community. Mr. Thomas has spent his career serving Englewood and has a deep understanding of the challenges and strengths of our schools.

What makes Mr. Thomas stand out is not just his experience but the respect he has earned from students, families, and staff over many years. He has built a reputation for being fair, approachable, and focused on helping children succeed. Those qualities cannot be learned from the outside—they come from years of service and dedication.

As a resident and taxpayer, I believe Englewood would benefit from leadership that is familiar with our community, invested in our future, and prepared to lead from day one. Mr. Thomas has shown that he is that leader.

I hope the Board will give him serious consideration as the next Superintendent of Schools.
