Subject: Request for Legal and Ethical Action Against Dereje Jada Hawaz wh oused OMN Media to spread Incitement of Genocide against the Amhara People in Ethiopia.!

Dear Sir/Madam,

We are writing to bring to your attention a matter of grave concern regarding  Mr. Dereje Jada Hawaz, employee of Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories and OMN Media. It has come to our attention that Mr. Hawaz is alleged to have engaged in incitement  targeting the Amhara people, which involves promoting hate speech and genocide against this particular 
ethnic group which was transmitted on August 25, 2023 on OMN Media.

Mr. Dereje Hawaz has made an incitement speech of Genocide using OMN Media. He said “Oromo should control power by reducing the number of 
Amhara people from about 30 million to 20,000”. The incitement is found between 57.36 to 57.53 minutes. 

As a respected and responsible organization known for its commitment to ethical conduct and corporate social responsibility, we believe it is vital to address this issue promptly and appropriately. The actions attributed to Mr. Hawaz not only raise legal concerns but also have moral and ethical implications that can impact the reputation and standing of Schweizer Engineering Company-USA.

We kindly request that your organization takes the following actions:

1. Internal Review & Legal Action: Conduct a thorough internal investigation to ascertain the accuracy of the allegations against Mr. Dereje Hawaz. This review should include an examination of any communication, affiliations, or actions that may be linked to the incitement against the Amhara people. If the internal review confirms the allegations against Mr. Hawaz, We encourage Schweizer Engineering Company-USA to consider taking appropriate legal action in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. Incitement, especially when targeting a particular ethnic group, 
can have serious consequences for social harmony and stability.

2. Ethical Measures: Given the nature of the allegations, I recommend that your organization  takes a strong ethical stance by addressing any potential violations of the company's code of conduct or ethical guidelines. This may include disciplinary action or even termination, if deemed appropriate based on the investigation's findings.

3. Public Statement: Please consider issuing a public statement to reaffirm your commitment to diversity, inclusivity, and respect for all individuals and ethnic groups. This statement can reflect 
Schweizer Engineering Company-USA's dedication to upholding the highest standards of ethical behavior  and promoting a positive and inclusive work environment. By taking swift and decisive action in response to these allegations, Schweizer Engineering Company-USA can demonstrate its commitment to ethical values, social responsibility, and the well-being of all individuals associated with the organization. 

Your proactive approach in addressing this matter will undoubtedly contribute to the preservation of your company's reputation and its positive impact on society.
