Recently, an Iranian activist opposing the Iranian regime, Siamak Aram, faced alarming death threats from an individual associated with the Islamic Regime of Iran's interest section in Washington D.C. This occurred while he was peacefully protesting among several others outside the Islamic Education Center in Potomac, Maryland, on May 22, 2024. Similarly, another Iranian activist, [Redacted], sustained severe spinal injuries after being attacked by Islamic Republic loyalists in London on May 24, 2024. The assault targeted a gathering of Iranian dissidents outside a "community center" operated by Islamic Republic loyalists, resulting in injuries to at least three more people including Ellie Borhan. We, the undersigned, express our profound concern regarding the escalating violence and repression targeting Iranian activists. These courageous individuals are bravely advocating for human rights, freedom, and justice, yet they endure relentless harassment and physical violence

We firmly uphold the principle that every individual possesses the right to express their beliefs and work towards positive change without fear of retribution. The ongoing assault on activists not only violates fundamental human rights but also undermines the bedrock values of liberty and democracy.

Our Demands:

1. Authorities must take decisive action to ensure the safety of Iranian Activists and safeguard their rights.
2. We call for the implementation of robust legal protections for activists, including legislation that explicitly prohibits threats, harassment, and violence against them.
3. We advocate for the protection of activists' families and loved ones, who may also be at risk of retaliation due to their association with the activists.
4. Access to Support Services: We urge governments and organizations to provide adequate support services, such as legal aid and counseling, to assist activists who have been targeted or affected by violence.
5. International Monitoring: We request increased international monitoring of human rights violations in Iran.

By endorsing this petition, we stand in solidarity with Iranian activists of different views, asserting their right to be heard and demanding the preservation of their rights. Violence and repression have no place in a society founded on principles of justice and liberty.

2.  ما به اجرای حفاظت‌های قانونی  برای فعالان، از جمله قانونی که به طور صریح تهدیدات، مزاحمت‌ها و خشونت علیه آنان را ممنوع کند، فراخوان می‌دهیم.
3. ما از حفاظت خانواده‌ها و عزیزان فعالان که ممکن است به دلیل ارتباطشان با فعالان در معرض انتقام قرار گیرند، حمایت می‌کنیم.
4. دسترسی به خدمات پشتیبانی: ما از دولت‌ها و سازمان‌ها خواستار ارائه خدمات پشتیبانی کافی، مانند کمک‌های حقوقی و مشاوره، به فعالانی که هدف قرار گرفته یا تحت تأثیر خشونت قرار گرفته‌اند، هستیم.
