I live in Cache County, Utah, and I've seen firsthand how our system fails to protect children from sexual predators. Too often, offenders are given plea deals, their crimes are minimized, or they slip through the cracks of the registry system.  In some cases, even prior convictions are hidden and/or ignored. 

This isn't just numbers on a page It's children in our community whose lives are permanently changed because those responsible are not being held accountable. The cycle repeats, and the victims keep getting younger

We can and must do better. Utah needs stronger laws that prioritize children's safety over leniency for offenders. We need to hold the right offices accountable, close loopholes, and make sure no one who harms a child gets the chance to do it again.
