On Monday, September 15th, Northshore Community College was notified that the federal government will no longer be funding the Upward Bound program in Lynn, Massachusetts. This abrupt decision means that the program is slated to close its office by September 30th, leaving many future students without the guidance and support they desperately need.

While North Shore Community College is claiming to be seeking alternative funding sources, the uncertainties are vast, with no guarantees of obtaining grants elsewhere.
