As a concerned citizen deeply impacted by the challenges facing Muslims in India, this is a matter close to my heart. It is time that we stand together and take action to preserve the rights of this marginalized community.

It is devastating to see the reports of increased violence and discrimination against Muslims in India. According to a report by the Amnesty International, Muslims in India are under-represented in government jobs and are often victims of targeted violence and systemic discrimination (Source: Amnesty International, 2021).

The religious freedom enshrined in our constitution has been overshadowed by communal hate and fear. This needs to change, now. We must rise above this bigotry and champion the rights of all citizens, irrespective of their religion.

Please join me in calling on the Indian Government to actively protect the rights of Muslims in India. This includes implementing stronger laws against religiously motivated hate crimes and creating inclusive policies that bolster representation and participation of Muslims across government bodies.
