This issue is an entirely personal matter to me and many other residents in our local community. A local group of activists has lodged a petition with the council, their aim being to lobby for the prohibition of natural gas connections in new developments. We believe that this not only unfairly restricts our choices but also targets the most cost-effective legal energy source available to us - natural gas.

Natural gas provides a lifeline for millions of people worldwide, and it is worth noting that it is one of the cheapest forms of power for residential properties. 

It is crucial that they understand that people should have unrestricted access to all legal and viable options for power. Campaigning to limit this serves to undermine people's rights and may result in higher energy costs for residents, creating a further strain on already tight budgets.
