Nature in this wonderful Cot Valley must be nurtured in a natural way, and allowed to continue evolving as it has over thousands of years.

We are now aware of the harm that man has caused and is causing to this beautiful place, and it must STOP !

Developments throughout the Valley, some of which are illegal (no planning consent), are ill thought out and with NO concerns or consideration to the harm and damage caused.

Whether this is loss of Historical Artefacts , lost in excavations, Creatures displaced from their habitats and homes where they have existed for centuries .Plant Life destroyed and the Cot Stream polluted and reduced.

The effects of this  felt throughout the Valley.

The Cot Valley is an important Microcosm and MUST be respected.

This Cavalier attitude to Development is deplorable and should be stopped immediately. The changing of the Natural Landscape be it one person or several, to manicure this wild and Natural place is wrong in every way. Monetary gain has no worth compared to this priceless place. 

Every signature given is supporting the removal of this “Lake” and the return of the Valley to its Natural State and preserving its future for posterity.
