I am a long-time fan of Taylor, having listened to her for years. It deeply saddens me to see her being subjected to online stalking and discrimination simply because she is in the public eye. Like all of us, Taylor is human and deserves respect, privacy, and safety.

Moreover, the rise in AI technology has exacerbated this problem by facilitating the creation of deepfakes – counterfeit content that can be used maliciously against individuals. A study from Deeptrace Labs reported a staggering 96% increase in deepfake videos online within just nine months.

This petition calls for stricter regulations on online platforms regarding stalking behavior and hate speech as well as enhanced protections against AI-generated harassment. We must ensure that everyone - including our beloved artists like Taylor - can safely navigate the digital world without fear or harm.
