Heritage Baptist Church just released a statement that Pastor Crawford is "temporarily relieved" while an INTERNAL investigation is conducted. We've received many reports that this was well known within the church. 

We are calling for a third-party investigation because independence matters. When leadership investigates itself, there is an unavoidable conflict of interest. An outside investigator has no personal ties, no institutional loyalty, and no reputation to protect — only the responsibility to examine the facts objectively.
