Thank you to all the Smith Park supporters who care about this special place. Because of you, the word is spreading about the $100,000 plan to remove green lawn and trees and cement it over for 4 more pickleball courts.

Tonight is the public hearing @6:30 pm at San Gabriel City Hall, 425 S Mission Drive, upstairs in Council chambers. (If you arrive after 7 pm, you should still be able to comment). Fill out a speaker card and give to City Clerk.

Ask the Council to spend this $100,000 instead on other desperately needed repairs/upgrades to the Smith Park pool, restrooms, handball courts, a safer crosswalk, etc. 

This park has a special history, redesigned in 2000 for green space and Gabrieleno history and memories. Stand with us to convince the Council! Tell them why it  must be preserved for the next generation.
