The San Gabriel City Council is scheduled to vote tonight (July 18) on the contract to remove a section of Smith Park's green space and trees, and pave it over for another pickleball court. 

Please tell the council to reconsider this proposal during the public comment period. 

Cementing over precious parkland should not happen to our neighborhood park.

The funds can be used instead to improve existing park facilities such as the pool, wading pool, more trees and plantings, restrooms, handball courts, etc.
