It is time to end an outrageous law that discriminates against women who are serving in the military, and we need your help to do it.

This law forces women in the military who become pregnant as a result of rape to pay the bill if they choose abortion. Servicewomen’s health insurance doesn’t cover abortion in these tragic circumstances simply because of anti-choice politics.

These women are fighting for our freedom while being denied their own.

The law also forbids doctors at military hospitals from providing abortion care, even if the woman pays for it herself. Imagine being stationed overseas, alone, facing an unintended pregnancy, and not being able to access compassionate care at your own base.

Help us change this horrific policy. Your member of the U.S. House of Representatives needs to hear from you now. Send the message below and stand with the military women who are fighting for us.

Letter to
U.S. House of Representatives
As your constituent, I urge you to support the MARCH Act. The bill would provide compassionate care to servicewomen overseas who survive sexual assault. It would also lift the ban that blocks women in the military from using private funds to access abortion services at U.S. military facilities.

Current law forbids military hospitals from offering abortion care, except in cases of life endangerment, rape or incest. In the latter two cases, the woman must pay for the services with her own money because the military health-insurance plan is prohibited from covering abortion services. These policies adversely affect servicewomen and military dependents who rely on the military for their health-care services.

Correct this unfair and demoralizing policy by supporting the MARCH Act.
