Dear COAST supporters:

On October 18 the City Council will discuss the Planning Commission's recommendations. Your input to the City Council is critical: please write to the Council to demand that the property be protected and removed from the DHE. It is equally important to make Public Comment at this meeting! 

This property is important for so many reasons: 

1) historical site; City historical study not yet started

2) currently zoned as Open Space; City survey overwhelmingly supports NO development in open spaces

3) scenic coastline is our economic engine drawing tourists to Pacific Grove

4) Local Coastal Plan protects this historical, cultural, environmentally significant land; designated for marine science research and education / coastal-dependent recreation

Immediate Action is Needed!

1) Help us get to 2000 by sharing the petition!
