My friends, family and I rely heavily on our local pharmacy, embedded within Pinner Green TESCO. As members of an ageing community with several disabled individuals among us, the convenience of getting our prescriptions while doing our shopping truly makes life easier. Unfortunately, our lifeline is being threatened as the rate at which local pharmacies are closing down in England is alarmingly high.

In England, from 2016 to 2019, there was a net loss of 233 community pharmacies, affecting countless lives, especially those of vulnerable individuals (Source: Pharmacy Business). We simply cannot let our Pinner Green TESCO Pharmacy join this growing list. Our community’s health and well-being are at stake here.

The closure of our pharmacy is not just an inconvenience. For many, particularly the elderly and disabled, it may represent the loss of accessibility to crucial medication, especially in rural areas where pharmacies like ours can be the only one for miles.
