Protect Our Christian Values at Pine Mountain Settlement School

The Issue

As concerned members of the community surrounding Pine Mountain Settlement School, we come together to express our strong opposition to the election of Jason Brashear as the director of our beloved institution. The foundation of our school and community rests upon Christian beliefs and traditions, which have guided us for generations.

Our petition is personal because we have witnessed firsthand how Jason's actions have disregarded and undermined our cherished Christian values. Recently, a group was allowed onto the school premises under his watch, desecrating the sacred chapel - God's house - with symbols and crystals so that they could practice their own religions and beliefs which goes against everything we hold dear. Since community members bravely stood up against this sacrilege and had them removed from the chapel, they have faced harassment and threats from individuals associated with that group.

What deeply concerns us is that instead of standing by our community during this trying time, Jason chose to side with those who defiled our sacred space. This decision has left us feeling betrayed and worried about what his leadership could mean for Pine Mountain Settlement School in the future.

We firmly believe that William Creech donated this land with a noble purpose in mind - to provide education rooted in Godly values rather than worldly or devilish influences. It is crucial for us to uphold these principles so that future generations can continue benefiting from an environment grounded in faith, love, compassion, and respect.

By signing this petition, we urge the board responsible for selecting a new director at Pine Mountain Settlement School to carefully consider these concerns before making their decision. We implore them not to appoint Jason Brashear as director as it would jeopardize not only our Christian heritage but also pose potential harm to our entire community.

Let your voice be heard! Stand united with us in preserving the sanctity of Pine Mountain Settlement School by signing this petition today!
