Last week the City of Marshall/Marshall Township Joint Planning Commission voted Four to Two Against the rezoning of the Marshall Megasite to Allow for the Marshall Megasite to proceed!  Commissioners listened to residents speaking at the public hearing!  Their recommendations have been sent to the Marshall City Council.  It is believed that City Council Members will IGNORE the JPC recommendations and side with Big Business. 

We need you to come to this meeting and speak UP and demand that the Marshall City Council listen to residents.  Please do not feel that you can not/should not speak because you don't live in this area.  MOST of the people coming to speak FOR the megasite do NOT live in our area.  They are PAID representatives of area development corporations that are DIRECT beneficiaries of this project.  We need voices standing up FOR historic farmsteads, residential communities, wildlife habitat, Kalamazoo River, the environment and COMMUNITY RIGHTS instead of corporate welfare.  

We NEED YOU!   Please come and say NO to Ford Blue Oval and the Industrial Megasite and YES to SeedKeepers' State Park Recreational Area plan!  This is our LAST week to save FIVE historic farmsteads before they are destroyed FOREVER!   Watch a 30 second roll call vote and witness audience response- tears of joy.
