Protect Female Restrooms From Conversion Into Gender-Neutral Spaces

Protect Female Restrooms From Conversion Into Gender-Neutral Spaces
The issue
We, the female citizens and residents of Australia, draw the attention of the House to the ongoing modification of access requirements for sex-segregated public spaces, specifically public toilets and changing facilities.
Concerns regarding privacy are further amplified by the widespread acknowledgment of an estimated 15% of males having voyeuristic and sexual fetishes targeted at women using restrooms or relieving themselves; behaviors heavily documented in explicit online content that receives millions of views globally.
This is a widely known uncomfortable truth.
Denying this fact is denying reality.
This is directly opening the door to predatory and perverse behavior, immediately placing all females at risk.
Demographic estimates indicate that while approximately 20,000 individuals nationwide medically identify as transwomen or are beginning medical transition, there are nearly 14 million biological females in Australia.
Overhauling women's private spaces to prioritize gender identity over biological sex compromises the safety, comfort, and privacy of millions of females to accommodate a very small fraction of the population.
This issue directly impacts young women and girls in schools, many of whom report feeling deeply uncomfortable, embarrassed and unsafe being forced to share toilet facilities with biological males. Exposing biological females, and particularly young girls in school environments, to biological males in private spaces places an unsafe and an unacceptable risk on the female population.
Request for Action
We therefore ask the House to introduce and support legislation that:
Preserves biological sex as the strict determining factor for access to female-only public spaces, including toilets, changing rooms, and school facilities.
Prioritizes the physical safety, psychological comfort, and privacy of biological females in all public infrastructure and educational planning.
Mandates the provision of separate, single-stall unisex facilities for individuals who prefer alternative accommodations, rather than converting existing female-only spaces into gender-neutral spaces.
Please sign and share to protect our safety, our rights and our future!
