I am writing this petition to express my deep concern for Bang Chan, leader of the popular K-pop group Stray Kids, and his fellow members under JYP Entertainment. Bang Chan has been an incredible inspiration and savior to me and countless other fans, known as STAYs. He dedicates his artistry and energy to uplifting us, creating a sense of belonging and healing through his music and interactions on platforms like Bubble. However, recent events have put him and his members at risk, and it's crucial that we speak out to protect them.

Bang Chan bravely revealed that he suffered abuse for 15 years, a confession that resonated deeply with many fans who have also faced their own struggles. Despite his vulnerability and courage, some individuals, particularly minors, are now spreading malicious and false accusations, referred to as the "Bang Chan file," aimed at discrediting him and causing harm to his reputation. It is disheartening to see such falsehoods gain traction, threatening the safety and well-being of someone who has been a beacon of hope for so many.

JYP Entertainment, as the agency representing Bang Chan and Stray Kids, has a responsibility to ensure the safety and protection of their artists. They must take immediate and concrete measures against this defamation by issuing official statements to denounce the false claims and to seek legal action against those propagating these harmful rumors. By doing so, they will not only protect Bang Chan and the members of Stray Kids but also set a precedent for safeguarding all artists under their care from similar falsehoods in the future.

We urge JYP Entertainment to act swiftly and decisively, prioritizing the mental health and safety of Bang Chan and his fellow group members. Their well-being is paramount, and it's imperative that they are able to continue creating music and connecting with fans without the shadows of false accusations looming over them.
