Protect and Preserve Fox Populations in Our Local Community

The Issue

I am a resident of a community in England where foxes have been an integral part of our local ecosystem for over 50 years. These beautiful, misunderstood creatures are not just animals; they are our neighbours who share the same environment with us. Recently, I had to intervene to save two starving foxes as their habitat has been destroyed by construction activities.

They didn't choose to live with us, they were forced to by their habitats being destroyed.   We should have the rights to feed & care for them. Without people complaining or making threats. We cannot let any animal die of starvation, or poor health, when we can help them.

Unfortunately, there is a growing sentiment among some members of our community that these foxes are pests rather than part of our shared ecosystem. Misinformation and unfounded fears have led to these innocent animals to be exterminated. This is not only unjust but also disrupts the balance of our local environment.

Foxes play an important role in maintaining the health and diversity of ecosystems by controlling rodent populations. According to The Mammal Society, urban areas like ours can support healthy fox populations without conflict.

It's time we stand up against misinformation about these magnificent creatures and advacote to ensure that people use humane solutions to be implemented & stop  people resorting to extermination.

Please sign this petition today if you believe in coexisting peacefully with all forms of life in our community, including the often misunderstood foxes.
