Protect All Clear Gear: Stop MCCS From Shutting Down a Veteran-Owned CIF Clean
The Issue
Who is impacted?
Thousands of Marines—especially those preparing to separate or under tight IIF turn-in timelines—have relied on All Clear Gear, a small veteran-owned business founded by Marine veteran Robert Martinez, to get their CIF gear cleaned and ready for inspection. Rob’s business has made a massive difference for service members who often receive little guidance and limited time to properly handle their gear returns. Now, those same Marines are being told they face administrative action simply for using this service, and Rob is being forced to shut down under a cease and desist from the Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS).
What is at stake?
If this shutdown stands, Marines will lose a trusted, proven solution that has helped countless service members avoid fines, delays, and stress during their transition out of the Corps. Worse, a Marine veteran who built something meaningful—serving his fellow warfighters—is being crushed by bureaucratic red tape. This sets a dangerous precedent: punishing veterans who fill real needs just because they aren’t officially endorsed. All Clear Gear doesn’t exploit Marines; it supports them.
Why is now the time to act?
The Marine Corps is actively threatening Rob’s ability to operate, and Marines are already being told to stop using his services. We can’t wait. The decision-makers at MCCS and the Department of Defense need to see that service members and civilians alike stand with Rob Martinez and All Clear Gear. We must act now to protect a business that has done nothing but help—and to make sure Marines past, present, and future don’t lose access to the support they need.
