Mercy Full Project (Local Nonprofit Animal Rescue)Fights to Protect Abused Dog, Didi

Tampa, Florida, August 16th 2024– Mercy Full Project is currently in a battle to protect Didi, a dog surrendered to our care after suffering severe injuries from a dog fight and signs of past abuse. Recently, individuals claiming to be Didi's owners have been demanding her return, despite her clear need for protection and care.

Didi has wounds all over her body and old scars suggesting she was tied up and subjected to repeated abuse. We have taken steps to ensure her safety and called law enforcement to trespass the individuals. However, they continue to protest outside our facility, causing distress to our staff and animals.

We are calling on the community to help us raise awareness about Didi’s plight and support our efforts to ensure she remains safe. Didi’s story is a stark reminder of the importance of protecting animals from abuse and providing them with a safe haven.
