Ringo is a dog that was shot in cold blood right in front of his owner. Joe has owned Ringo since he was a puppy, and Ringo went everywhere with him. Ringo was outside to use the bathroom. Joe called for him and as he ran to Joe, two gunshots were fired. Joe ran as fast as he could to Ringo and got to him before he even hit the ground. He saw the two shooters, but was more concerned with getting Ringo help. Ringo passed away from his gunshot wounds at the emergency vet. The man that shot him was a friend of the neighbor. Ringo was NOT on their property. He was 100 yards away from Joe when they shot him, not once, but twice. Ringo was wearing his collar that was clearly visible also.

We are hoping to present this petition to the judge and prosecutor to ensure Ringo’s killer gets the punishment he deserves. This could be any one of our dogs, and if he did this without any reason, he will kill again. No innocent dog deserves to die like Ringo did. Please help us get him justice and prevent this from happening again to any other dogs!
