An immense personal injustice was felt when we learned about the fatal consequences that have been caused by Norfolk Southern Railroad's negligence. In the small town of East Palestine, Ohio, an avoidable train wreck resulted from sheer stupidity. Norfolk Southern did not check the defect detectors and hotboxes to make sure they were working properly, and when they finally picked up the defects in the train, it was too late. It wasn't just the wreckage, but they erred with tragic aftermath. The air and groundwater were contaminated with highly toxic substances, with vinyl chloride being the most prominent amongst them. This resulted in multiple cases of adverse health effects on residents--some even fatal. It is tragic that this accident was preventable. Adding insult to injury, anticipated measures from President Biden before his visit never arrived. This was due to an erroneous whistleblower claim that no further action was necessary. But they were wrong, so wrong. That's right, our hero, President Biden, was lied to!!! It is time to call out such gross negligence. It is time to hold Norfolk Southern Railroad accountable for manslaughter. They cannot be allowed to forfeit responsibility. Support this cause and demand justice for those affected.
