Thanks to everyone for the growing support, especially to those that have helped deliver flyers out to Cordova Bay households. It is making a big difference. It is still amazing that most people still do not know about this upcoming development. Not your fault of course, but it does highlight the fact that communications have been sorely lacking by the municipality.
Just wanted to provide a link to the “Cordova Bay Local Area Plan - Adopted by Council Resolution on May 7, 2024.
The Plan's future development for Cordova Bay highlights include –
· Low impact from traffic;
· A scale that is “village like”;
· Less car dependency;
· A place of great natural beauty;
· Maintaining adequate greenspace, biodiversity and well-functioning natural areas.
Not sure how this can all be rationalized to this HUGE development, it was just written under a year ago!
