2406 Savage Drive in Killeen, TX owned by a Vietnam Veteran who served two tours in Vietnam was a victim of elder abuse and forgery.  Now the home is under a tax delinquency lawsuit because the person/people who stole failed to pay the taxes on the property in 2022 and 2023.

The scammers who stole my parents' home with a forged document have failed to pay the back taxes on it, taxes carry over to new owners when transferring home ownership. Yes, I agree, I should not have to pay a penny due to the situation at hand, someone stole it via forgery and Bell County allowed it to happen. 

If you want to call over to the Bell County Tax Office and complain to them on my behalf by all means, I am not stopping anyone. I should not be held liable for anything based on the fact they allowed someone to steal a whole house using forged documents and lied in court to steal it. They know this but do not care, they want their money but it should come from the scammers, not me. She wanted the house so bad, that while it was in her name she should be held accountable. Her mother wanted to probate claiming the home belonged to her, and she must also pay. 

This is happening in our wonderful country, people get their homes stolen but are still held liable for any back money owed. My father did not do 20-plus years in the military for me to deal with this mess. I should not lose the house because people allow mistakes to happen on their watch. 

I still need a news reporter to take my story. This needs to make headline news. I need my story to be heard.

I need for Bell County to go after the people who did the crime of stealing the home to pay the back taxes that is due.  I should not be penalized for something that could have been prevented.

Timeline of events: Oct 2019, my father, James Edward Brent passed away, I filed my Affidavit of Heirship, Whitney Benson files a forged document against the home a few days after me and Bell County TX allowed it.  Jan 2020 she uses this forged document to lie in a civil court case to obtain a judgement from the judge to steal the house from me even though we pointed out the errors in the document that it is not a valid document.  March 2020 she and her mother Angela Washington was arrested while they were attempting to drive to the title company to sell the house.  April 2021, Whitney Benson was sentenced to two counts of forgery, given probation.  She had her lawyer present a purported Will in her criminal hearing.  Look at this video of the proof showing everything was fraud.  A couple of months later her mom files a purported Will in probate court claiming the house belongs to her.  In October 2023, probate dismisses the case and Bell County Tax Office files a lawsuit holding Whitney Benson and Angela Washington both liable for the back taxes, having myself and my deceased parents as interested parties in the case.  April 2024 I get a letter from a lawyer stating that Whitney Benson wants to sell the house and give me 50%, I called and told him "NO!!" based on the fact that his client stole a whole house forging a deceased Vietnam Veteran's signature.  He gave all the receipts and he had no clue what really transpired.  May 14, 2024 she hires another lawyer to draft a Special Warranty Deed giving me back the home.  Bell County Tax Office still wants their money for the back taxes but they need to go after Whitney Benson and Angela Washington, not me.  One of my real estate agents in Killeen asked what is the process of a deceased person selling a house.  When you look at the tax records it looks like I gave the house back to the estate and the estate sold it to Whitney Benson because she filed the forged document.  Last I checked dead people cannot sell anything.  Bell County needs to get their money from these two con artists and leave the house alone.  They are just as much responsible as the mother and daughter duo who took the house.  I am thankful to God to have my family home back but I should not have to worry about owing any back taxes due to the errors Bell County Texas Tax Office made by handing the home over to a scammer.  I inherited the house rightfully.  It is time for everyone who has done my father wrong, done me wrong to make it right.
