Improper Waste Disposal and Littering

Nowadays, we are experiencing various calamities because of the disrespect we do to our mother earth such as global warming, flash floods, and many others. One of the reasons for this is the misbehavior of the people towards waste management. Many of us do not care about the visible trash in our environment, I also noticed that the students in RSMOHS do not organize their own trash in their own classroom. Not thinking about the great results of this in our environment especially in our health.

Any process utilized to get rid of undesired substances or materials is known as waste disposal. Poor garbage disposal practices cause serious environmental issues in a particular area.

CAUSES

1. Ignorance: Lack of knowledge regarding safe trash disposal. Ignorance of the effects of imprudent behavior.

2. Because they never follow the required procedures for disposing of waste, persons who are lazy tend to discard things wherever they choose without considering the consequences.

EFFECTS

1. Affects our health like lung problems, heart disease, skin rashes, breathing issues, and more.
2. Direct contact with garbage can cause skin irritation, blood infections, and the spread of bacteria to open wounds.

Knowing that many lives have been lost as a result of the recent disasters makes me very sad. Additionally, Ragay has areas that regularly flood when a storm passes through, and worst of all, many families have lost their homes and have nothing left to live on. Storms and other natural disasters destroyed their wealth. Because of the greenhouse effect and global warming, we are currently experiencing exceptionally hot temperatures. Untidy environments are the source of many different diseases. Others can no longer smell the breath of fresh air. All of this are the effects of improper  waste management.
