Promote High Rise Plans and Downtown Development in Jersey City

Jersey City’s growth and prosperity hinge on the success of revitalization efforts and job creation initiatives. Considering the possibility of substantial economic and social benefits, we urge local authorities to support the high-rise plans in Downtown Jersey City.

High-rise buildings in downtown areas are known for their potential to positively impact local economies. A 2016 report by the Urban Land Institute points to denser land use in urban areas as a significant factor for economic development. Dense land use often results in significant business activity and job creation, enabling cities to flourish.

Revitalizing downtown Jersey City with high-rise development would also serve as a multi-faceted solution for our growing city. With the increasing population, housing demand is up, and high-rise buildings offer a possible answer. Additionally, the new buildings would create numerous job opportunities during their construction and once they are operational.
