According to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS), our region has experienced notable quakes with the potential for considerable damage. This reality underscores the necessity for every resident to be well-informed and ready.

This petition aims to urge the Taytay local government to initiate comprehensive earthquake preparedness programs. These programs should include regular drills, community workshops, and distribution of educational materials highlighting critical safety practices during seismic events, like "Drop, Cover, and Hold On."
