The Issue

Project Management community are heartbroken about the Russian invasion of Ukraine and the crimes committed by Russia on Ukrainians.

At Project Management Institute we believe that project management is a critical competence that has a positive influence on organization results and society. We are accountable for our ethical behavior and quoting PMI Code of Ethics: "Honesty is our duty to understand the truth and act in a truthful manner both in our communications and in our conduct."

Many of our members and volunteers are involved in relief projects and personal help to Ukrainian fellows.

We the undersigned members of Project Management Institute are demanding our leadership to:

- make clear statement about Russia as aggressor (which actually comply with United Nations resolution)

- suspend any business (ATP, Membership, new certifications, access to resources, sales of any PMI products, courses and events, etc) in Russia and Belarus (which comply with US and EU sanctions)

This is a crucial moment for Project Management Institute to reinforce our values and responsibility for positive development of global society. We hope that PMI leadership will hear our voice and will have the courage to make a clear statement and take actions to support the free world.
