This is being written to spread awareness on those who want to feel safer regarding the danger of firearms. High-Capacity magazines, meaning magazines on weapons that hold a larger round than the standard capacity allow for someone to fire multiple rounds without reloading. We want these High-Capacity magazines banned. This is to help protect our community from mass shootings and let them feel safer in it. 

If these magazines are not banned then shooters will be able to cause more violence and deaths, easier. Since these magazines are large, shooters will be able to fire more rounds before they would have time to stop and reload, which would help authorities stop the attack. As a result, more people will be harmed and die if a restriction on firearms such as this one does not get ratified.

Action needs to be taken now as mass shootings continue to occur, continue to rise and continue to kill innocent people. While this won't stop all mass shootings, it is a start to restrict these weapons that are very dangerous and cause violence. The action needs to be taken now so that restrictions can continue to be made so that the mass shootings decrease and people can go back to living their life feeling safe.
