We have reached over 16,000 signatures! I cannot thank you enough for continuing to share this petition and spread awareness of the impacts LEAP could have on Indy’s drinking water and our beloved Eagle Creek Park! 

UPDATES

• TODAY, SATURDAY 2/28 FROM 12-2 PM: The Eagle Creek Park Foundation is hosting “Leave Eagle Creek Park Alone” yard sign pick up. You can stop by the Eagle Creek Park Office parking lot between 12pm-2pm. Signs are free with a suggested $10.00 donation to offset printing costs. The Eagle Creek Park Office address is 7840 W. 56th St (it’s the first driveway on the right after the 56th street park entrance just before you begin to cross the reservoir)

• TODAY, SATURDAY, 2/28 at 10:30 AM: Protect Pike Township is hosting a Zoom meeting and will provide updates about what we have learned in the last couple of weeks and what is coming up along with having regional breakout conversations. Please register here. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.

• We had a wonderful turn out for sign-waving along 56th street last night! Thank you to all of our neighbors who joined us. We even had a local bald eagle fly over us as we were sign-waving! There were plenty of drivers honking, giving us thumbs up, and waving as they passed by. We enjoyed seeing everyone’s signs and enthusiasm for protecting our drinking water and Eagle Creek!
