I speak from personal experience. I, along with many other fellow citizens, have been added to a government watch list. Our 'offense' - we dared to question, dared to challenge and dared to speak the truth against the government’s narrative. These actions, far from being a threat, are the cornerstone of every thriving democracy. 

The use of such watch lists is an intrusion on our privacy and a dent on our freedoms. The repercussions are severe - it adds to the challenges in our daily lives, impairing our ability to secure employment and participate fully in society. This system has led to us being unjustly labelled as a 'threat' or erroneously tagged as 'terrorists.'

Research indicates that there is a significant increase in the number of citizens being added to these lists for merely exercising their freedom of speech. This violation of rights must be addressed urgently.

My ONLY mission is to inform the public of what is going on. I’m NOT trying to hurt anyone. Julian Assange spent YEARS in prison for informing the people about what our government and military were doing abroad and Edward Snowden seeking asylum in other countries to escape persecution for informing the people that we were being spied on illegally by our government through the internet. These men weren’t terrorist. I consider them as HEROES for their bravery and for taking on the mission to do what they did. These men didn’t hurt ANYBODY to deserve persecution or face imprisonment for treason, they simply EXPOSED the wrong doings. These are ONLY two of the many being falsely accused, simply for telling the TRUTH.

We, therefore, call on the responsible authorities to enact legislation that prohibits politicians from adding individuals to government watch lists for merely expressing their views freely, for whistleblowing or for challenging the established narrative. This is not just a personal appeal; it is a call for the protection of a fundamental democratic principle. Please lend your voices to this cause and sign this petition.
