Children should never have to bear witness to the terror and harm being wielded upon our communities by certain governmental actions. The presence of ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) in public schools around the country has created a climate of fear and anxiety among students, parents, and educators. Our schools should be places of learning and sanctuary, not environments where children feel threatened and unsafe.
