As a concerned citizen, I am deeply troubled by the precarious state of our economy. We are teetering on the brink of collapse, and it is crucial that we have strong and effective leadership to guide us through these challenging times. It is my belief that neither Donald Trump nor Joe Biden should be allowed to run for president again.

Both Trump's and Biden's presidencies have been marked by controversy, division, and lack of effective policy implementation. According to a study by Pew Research Center, both administrations have seen some of the highest levels of partisan division in recent history (Pew Research Center). This has resulted in legislative gridlock, hampering our ability to address pressing issues such as economic recovery.

Furthermore, under both administrations we've seen an increase in national debt. The Congressional Budget Office reported that under Trump’s administration alone, national debt increased by $7.8 trillion (Congressional Budget Office). Under Biden's administration so far we're also seeing a trend towards increasing national debt.

We need fresh perspectives and innovative solutions to navigate our current economic crisis—not more of the same politics that got us here in the first place. Therefore, I urge you all to sign this petition calling for legislation prohibiting Donald Trump and Joe Biden from running for president again. Together we can ensure stronger leadership for our nation’s future.
