As a concerned citizen living under the UK's skies, I deeply feel the impact of policies and practices that affect the very air we breathe. With an urgency amplified by the common reality that "If the sky is poisoned, then we are all being poisoned," I urge the UK Government to stop any and all forms of aerosol or other hazardous discharges from aircraft flying over the UK airspace.

Current regulations are permissive towards weather modification efforts, allowing for the release of chemicals for strategies such as cloud seeding. The potential health and environmental implications of such practices are not fully known and could be detrimental to a large population. Moreover, while medical or chemical release from aircraft might be employed for public health reasons or scientific research, these too possess inherent risks that need open and honest regulatory monitoring.

To protect the health of the people and the environment, I propose making the release of airborne chemicals a criminal offence. The long term impacts to our air, water, and soil could be catastrophic, as harmful chemicals infiltrate our environment.
