The Philippines Professional Regulation Commission has announced a new list of allowed calculators for the Civil Engineering Licensure Examination. While there is no clear announcement if this list will apply to all future examinations, we hope to show PRC the student body demand of reallowing the calculators in their early 2019 list which included the Casio fx-570ES among others.

Education and lessons have progressed and licensure examinations have adapted and so did the calculators students use in their day-to-day lives. 

Instead of banning more and more calculators, maybe we can realign our attention to increasing security before and during exams to preserve the honor and integrity in licensure exams.
