UNISA Module MNG3702 Needs to have Unfair Marking Systems Changed

UNISA Module MNG3702 Needs to have Unfair Marking Systems Changed

The Issue

Students who have written MNG3702 during the May/June exams have received dismally low results, some as low as 1%, despite hard work and dedication put towards studying for this exam, and achieving high marks for their assignments. This is not the first time that students have encountered such issues with this module. Similar issues can be traced as far back as 2014, students from previous semesters who requested such remarks were given passes by an external marker, indicating an underlying issue with the marking system of MNG3702. Since UNISA requests a minimum of 35% before an exam is remarked, a lot of students are missing out on having their grievances attended to. Everyone who wrote this exam and who feel that their results achieved were not indicative of the effort they put in should  be allowed a remark. Or everyone who has been failed should be allowed to write a supplementary exam.
