Dear RTO Karnataka,

Please simplify online driving license application procedure and forms.

Present online system at http://rto.kar.nic.in/  virtually does not work.

It is very complex and needs specific version of OS and specific version of   browser and its specific setting. This is very inconvenient, prone to error and hence not suitable for common public.

Due to this we are forced to go to brokers just to fill form and this is causing unnecessary inconvenience and waste of time and money of license seekers.

1) Remove pdf form and Please make simple html form like we have for Aadhar and passport online form.

 2) Give form hard copy and option to fill form on spot at RTO offices for people who are not computer literate. Online form should not  be made mandatory for applying LL/DL for sake of common public.

3) Please accept rental agreement as proof address along with owner electricity/gas/telephone bill as rental agreement is the most common document almost all people have.

4) Please avoid unnecessary trips to RTO offices. presently license seekers need to visit twice- once for applying for LL and another for collecting it at specified time window. this is waste of time for license seeker and applicants cant visit at 4pm-5pm window to collect license as most people work and will be in office in that time.

Please send LL/DL to applicants address.

5) Introduce concept of queue and token in RTO offices. presently we need  to stand in long queue and if we have queue tokens we can return to counter when its our turn and we dont need to stand in queue.

6) Introduce online payment of LL and DL fee . this will avoid rush and long queue in front of cash counter in offices.

7) Introduce single window counter for all services. People need to go to just one counter and get al their job done instead of moving from counter to counter. Will avoid time waste and inconvenience and superior customer experience. 

8) Introduce premium services like tatkal service to get faster license, doorstep delivery of license, preferred driving test time& date etc
