I first met Brooks McCumbee at the Charles Town races many years ago while vacationing from New York City with my wife. Brooks was a friendly, funny, engaging, warm, and kind person, truly exemplifying what it means to be a southern gentleman. He also has a beautiful Wife Robin who is equally charming, fun, warm and we enjoy her company too. Over the years, we've made it a point to meet them each time we return to the northeast panhandle, and each encounter only strengthens our admiration for both of them and for Brooks.

He is an ardent Baltimore Orioles fan and uses this passion to engage with others in various community events. His commitment to raising funds for Hospice each year has provided aid and comfort to hundreds of people in need locally, illustrating his dedication to service and community welfare.
