Proclaim Brooks McCumbee as Berkeley County's G.O.A.T.
The Issue
I first met Brooks McCumbee at the Charles Town races many years ago while vacationing from New York City with my wife. Brooks was a friendly, funny, engaging, warm, and kind person, truly exemplifying what it means to be a southern gentleman. He also has a beautiful Wife Robin who is equally charming, fun, warm and we enjoy her company too. Over the years, we've made it a point to meet them each time we return to the northeast panhandle, and each encounter only strengthens our admiration for both of them and for Brooks.
Brooks is not just a remarkable individual in our personal lives; he's an incredible asset to his community in Berkeley County and the state of West Virginia. As a true American patriot, Brooks dedicates his time and effort to meaningful and impactful activities. He is an ardent Baltimore Orioles fan and uses this passion to engage with others in various community events. His commitment to raising funds for Hospice each year has provided aid and comfort to hundreds of people in need locally, illustrating his dedication to service and community welfare.
Beyond his philanthropic work, Brooks plays a vital role in nurturing young talent by actively participating with local sports teams. Serving as an umpire, referee, and coach, he brings success and a much-needed service to the county. His dedication to sports not only enriches the lives of young athletes but also adds value to the community's spirit and camaraderie.
Recognizing Brooks McCumbee as the G.O.A.T. of Berkeley County is more than just celebrating one man's achievements; it's acknowledging the profound impact he has on the lives of so many. Let us honor Brooks for his unwavering commitment, his kindness, and his towering contributions to our community. Sign this petition to support naming Brooks McCumbee as the Greatest of All Time in Berkeley County and ensure that his positive influence is celebrated far and wide.
