This School has been doing poorly for way over six years! P.S. 78 is in serious need of some SERIOUS changes. Students are constantly fighting,bullying others,play fighting and acting chaotically.The students Enter the school in the MORNING fighting and they EXIT in the AFTERNOON fighting! This School lacks SUPERVISION,CONTROLand EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES. Someones child can be seriously hurt. A school is suppose to be a SAFE Learning Facility! Not a BOXING ring/match or WRESTLING ring/match. P.S. 78 is rated a 2 STAR on nyc school informational web sites. We all know P.S. 78 is considered/listed by the NYC department of education as a "SCHOOL IN NEED FOR IMPROVEMENT" and this has been the case for years! The question is "When will improvements start to happen?." The same way we tell/teach our children to try harder, I feel this school and its ENTIRE STAFF should try harder !
