We the batch of 2021-2022 of class 12th, demand for an offline farewell from our prestigious school,Delhi Public School,Noida(Sector-30). There have been several back-to-back offline exams in spite of 2 year long online classes for us. We have come to school for practicals,assessments,tests and assignment submissions too.But we spent the majority of the last 2 important years of being in the school online.

We have been stuck at our homes since the last class 10th Board Exam which was held back in the year, 2020. The lockdown started right after that.We have not met our friends since 2020. Our batch has been through the most of the unexpected and 'at the 11th hour' changes in academic curriculum and patterns of exams in the history of CBSE,due to which our mental health has suffered like never before. This was fueled by the lack of in-person social interactions with our peers. 

This offline farewell is the least we could ask for. Meeting everyone,though with faces underneath masks while ensuring strict Covid precautions, will be better than graduating without any formal valedictory. Being handed our certificates and mementos offline after a long school-life at DPS Noida would be a prestigious moment for all of us,students. 

We have already missed on many high school experiences due to the pandemic. Since the corona graph has had a down-trend lately,we ask the school to conduct an offline farewell to commemorate the very existence of our batch. We need to meet all our friends and teachers officially,one last time before bidding farewell to school life forever.
